We had the best experience at Joey’s thanks to our incredible waiter, Marshall! From the moment we sat down, he was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. He gave amazing recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. His timing, energy, and professionalism truly elevated the entire dining experience.

Took my husband to Joey for a mid day happy hour on his birthday. We were offered a glass of champagne when we walked in. Seated in the outside covered patio. We loved our server Tiffany, she was very engaging and attentive. Brought my husband a birthday card which was a sweet gesture. Food and drinks were good. We will definitely be back!

I make this post with conviction that my family and I had an amazing night at Joey Newport Beach! From the moment Amanda welcomed us at the hostess desk with champagne, I knew it was going to be special. But Tiffany, our server, absolutely made the evening unforgettable. She was patient and kind, explaining the menu in detail and even pointing out which items might be too spicy for anyone with a sensitive palate (so thoughtful!). Her recommendations for food, drinks, and even dessert were all perfect. Every single dish our group ordered was delicious, and we each got to try something different and unique. What really stood out was how attentive she was…always checking in at just the right time and somehow anticipating what we needed before we even asked. Tiffany made us feel so comfortable and well taken care of, it honestly felt like dining with a friend who also happens to know the menu inside and out. The vibe of the restaurant was a 10/10, but Tiffany truly made the night. She left such a great impression, and because of her, we can’t wait to come back.

We recently had a fantastic experience at Joey Shipyards in North Vancouver. While we were there, we discovered that Joey has a great presence in the USA - New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Newport Beach and Santa Clara etc. Eager to try a new location, we visited the Newport Beach spot during happy hour. We ordered a variety of dishes, including a refreshing strawberry drink, the Sichuan chicken wrap, a sesame tempura rice handroll, and the beef carpaccio. Every dish was outstanding, but the beef carpaccio was truly exceptional—it was so fresh and tender that it could easily be a world-class dish. It's clear that this restaurant chain offers consistent, high-quality food. It's definitely worth a visit!

We celebrated our daughter in law birthday. I have eaten at other Joey restaurants, but not this particular one. We made reservations and had a short wait. We were offered champagne, as all guests are, but declined. Our server, Olivia was attentive enough, busy Sunday though. I had the Mediterranean bowl, which is my "go to" very tasty. My husband had the poke bowl, not enough poke. We also ordered mini steak sliders with fries. If you have a group, each order just has 2 sliders. The butter cake was better than the pumpkin cheesecake brunette for dessert. There's valet parking if wanted, we did self park.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this restaurant where we hosted our wedding dinner for 50 people. Madison truly went above and beyond to make sure all the details were precisely what I was hoping for. She rented extra linens and tables (including a small size for the children) as well as provided flowers and a saxophonist to make the event more personalized. My guests raved about the food especially the appetizers which were passed and served at the tables for those guests who sat down early. The rest of the meal was served family style which included steaks, shrimp, and fish. The open bar was prompt and the bartenders and servers were efficient and friendly. We received so many compliments about the setting and the food. To summarize, if you are thinking of hosting a group event at Joey, they have proven that they know what they are doing and will make your event one of which you will be proud.

Great service, nice atmosphere, good food. Loved the farmer's market salad(w. Chicken) I ordered! Absolutely packed with flavor. Chicken was so tender and crispy on the outside. Salmon sushi has texture, flavor and a little kick with the pepper. Wonderful outdoor seating. Will recommend strongly.

Amazing experience! We were welcome by a warm staff, offered complimentary champagne while we waited for our table and got to enjoy the lovely fire-pit area. Loved sitting on the patio. We enjoyed the beautifully designed atmosphere. The food was incredible! Definitely our favorite meal while visiting Newport.
